Regional Business Development Director - APAC
Our clients are market leaders in maritime and shipping industry, and have partnered with Faststream Recruitment to identify, attract and engage an experienced and high-performing Regional Business Development Director.
With the aim of taking their APAC business, operations and client base to the next level, our client is looking to bring on an industry veteran with a proven track record of developing business strategies, motivating, monitoring and leading sales teams and managing internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the marine and maritime industry with a business development and commercial focus and will have prior business development experience dealing with major shipyards in the region, a good network with owners and managers would be a useful addition.
You should posses strong leadership abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong commercial acumen and the ability to managing and motivate sales teams through hard and soft management and sales skills.
Due to the intricacies and complexities of the industry, we need a strategic sales leader with relevant and extensive experience within the maritime and shipping industry, this individual must possess a network of key decision makers throughout shipyards in the region, must have managed sales teams and must have had P&L responsibilities.
