An established shipyard that integrated engineering group providing solutions and services in the marine sectors is looking for Manager (Supply Support)

Participate in tender proposal stage to ensure that the material supply element of the ILS program is provided to fulfil the customer's requirement for cost effective supportability of the delivered vessels

Provision adequate range and depth of spares and tools meet the through life support requirements of the customer.

Achieve timely delivery of an adequate material supply package using the results of the Logistic Support Analysis Program (LSAP) which includes:   

• List of Recommended Spares, Special Test Equipment and Tools at each level (Ship and Base)
• Provisioning Technical Documentation
• Material Management Data (MMD)
• Codification and cataloguing (where required)
• Shipboard Stowage Analysis Plan
• Ship Allowance Lists
• Identification of Long Lead Items

Requirements

Preferably Degree in Marine /Mechanical or Electrical /Electronic Engineering

Effective planning skills

Preferably at least 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance management, material planning or supply chain management

Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills

Able to interact effectively with all levels of staff both internally and externally

Demonstrated performance in proposal writing

Ex-military personnel/regulars with the relevant experiences have added advantages
