Faststream focuses on freight traders

Global shipping recruitment firm Faststream has opened a new desk to focus on finding freight traders for banks, commodity and energy trading houses.
The move comes in response to the growing number of financial service companies taking advantage of volatile freight rates and chartering vessels and trading Forward Freight Agreements (FFAs). Many trading companies have introduced intergrated physical commodity and ocean freight businesses that are able to offer comprehensive management of the entire commodity supply chain and require experienced wet and dry freight traders and operators.
