Faststream are working on behalf of a world-wide, leading Cruise company and have an exciting opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join their fleet.
The Chef de partie on board will be responsible for a team of 25/30 and will report into the Sous Chef.
Duties will include the overseeing of general service standard and quality of the food products being served. There will be daily responsibility to confirm menu requirements and work processes for the team and overall control of the budget adhering to company guidelines and keeping wastage to a minimum.
Rotation pattern is 6 months on 2 months off with accommodation shared with one another including an en suite.
The desirable candidate will have experience working in 4 / 5* establishments or cruise line. The certification needed for the role is:
- Recognised catering qualification
- Seafarer medical
- Valid ID
To be able to read and write English fluently is essential.
