Senior Rig Mover

Faststream are working on behalf of a leading Oman Rig Moving Specialist to recruit a team of Senior Rig Movers to move land-based rigs. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

* Supervising and up-skilling the local workforce in the skills required to safely transport land based drilling rigs.

* Take an active part in HSE and Management roles to ensure a safe and compliant workplace at all times.

* Liaise with the Head Office, Rig Owners and 3PL's as and when required to ensure compliance with any and all relevant taskings.

* Be able to oversee as well as actively participate in every aspect of the move itself, with both Breakdown and Mobile rigs.

The client requires someone with relevant Health and Safety training certificates, IOSH and NEBOSH as a minimum. In addition, the successful candidates will have substantial working experience of moving land based rigs, as well as a background working logistics in the field, either through a 3PL, Carrier or from within the industry. The work will be on a fly-in/fly-out, rotational basis which can be negotiated by the candidates, in addition, a salary of 2,000 Omani Rial per month is on offer.
