The Company

 The client is a global frontrunner in providing engineering and design consultancy for floating production storage and offloading units (FPSO's) and floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) production units with offices covering the Europe, the Middle East, Africa, America and Asia Pacific. Specialities cover all phases of the asset lifecycle including concept design, feasibility studies through to construction, operations and decommissioning.

The Role

You will join the Floating Systems department and work on projects covering assets to include semisubmersibles, tension leg platforms and FPSO's.

 You will lead and project manage on multi-disciplined design and engineering activities covering structural analyses, mooring and stability calculations as well as support and lead on business development including tender activities.

Growing managerial responsibilities will be available for candidates who wish to help grow and build the division.

The Person

Degree qualified Naval Architect or equivalent qualification

Chartered Engineer

Experience in offshore design, hydrodynamics or structures is essential

The right to live and work in the UK

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Naval architect who has previously held a Senior or Principal post in the Oil & Gas sector.
