Marine Superintendent

The client is a global owner and operator of offshore facilities who provide a variety of engineering, construction and maintenance services to the Oil & Gas sector. The Marine services division is equipped to manage vessel inspections, auditing, DP services and consultancy and compliments the companies wider vision of providing safety and technical assurance auditing to vessels supporting the Oil & Gas industry.
The Role
A Marine Superintendent is required to partake in vessel technical inspections and surveys for the clients currently portfolio of owned assets as well as subcontract out their services to the wider market. This will include undertaking the following:
- Rig move management and operations
- CMID and OVID audits for marine and offshore assets
- DP assurance audits including FMEA trials and accident investigations
- Dry docking inspections and client representative audits
You will spend a mix of time in office, at site and travelling offshore globally, working alongside the client servicing key accounts whilst sourcing new business leads.
The Person
- STCW Class 1 qualified Master Mariner (unlimited)
- Command experience on board DP2/DP3 vessels
- Certified DP operator
- Experience of FMEA's and annual DP trials
- Qualified SMS/LRQA auditor
- Experience of ship inspection regimes eg IMCA/OCIMF auditing
- Experience in anchor handling, rig moving and tow operations
- Onshore marine management is desirable
