An established shipyard that provides shipbuilding, ship repair and ship conversion is looking for a Naval Architect (Outfitting/Basic design) in Singapore.

The responsibilities:

Perform naval architecture calculations (stability/hydrostatic, speed power prediction, weight distribution etc)

Assist manager/act as representative in discussion with clients, surveyors, consultants and other relevant department

Conform design drawing standards and ensure completion on time

Provide engineering calculation, engineering proposals, cost estimation and project scheduling for new build and conversion tenders, when requested

Ideal requirements:

Recognized degree in Naval Architecture

Minimum at least 3 years relevant of experience in hull,outfitting and ship design

Proficiency in AutoCAD
