An exciting opportunity with an existing equipment manufacture client has become available. Our client is at the forefront of technological innovation in integrating complex machinery within niche vessel designs. Due to organisation restructure and employee retirement, a requirement for the Head of Project Management has arisen.

The position is located at their head office in Germany and will involve overseeing and assistance of multiple projects, leadership, reporting, and day to day project management in support of their project teams. This position is at the same level as their project directors and as such involves a wide scope of involvement and responsibility. The successful candidate will report to the Director of New Builds and will be considered in the future to progress into this post.

Successful candidates should have:

• Extensive newbuild project management
• Significant experience and track record of employee/ team management experience
• Technical degree
• Current knowledge of the maritime industry

Desirable but not essential:

• German speaking
• Project management experience on technical vessels (DP, Pipe Layer, Dredger, etc...)

This position offers a high degree of responsibility within a technologically focussed organisation. Scope of progression upwards of this role is possible and is best suited for senior project managers with extensive experience.
