JOB CAPSULE:Provides administrative and logistical support to assigned operations department(s).JOB PURPOSE (summary of job outputs)Responsible for safe and effective operation of nominated fleet vessels, ensuring assets deliveredmeet customer requirements and expectations. This role will be the principal liaison point between AMOS and business units to ensure their needs are met and accurately reflected in the services andsupport provided.KEY ACTIVITIES· Recognize the ‘ownership’ of health, safety and environmental control within their sphere ofactivity and lead by example. Require reporting Supervisors to demonstrate effective controlover health, safety, security and environmental responsibilities.· Responsible for operational asset management of assigned vessels.· Provide a single point of contact with BU PMT’s with responsibility for ensuring coordinationand accuracy of responses to queries.· Overall budget responsibility for vessel P& L.· Responsibility for maximizing vessel availability and utilization by the BU’s.· Liaise with project teams to ensure A-MOS expertise has input into operations procedures.· Provide A-MOS point of contact with OCM for operations management and support.· Responsible for delivery of offshore spread according to A-MOS specifications and ServiceLevel Agreements including ensuring accuracy and regular updating of vessel assurancescheme.QUALIFICATIONS (professional, technical, academic)Essential:· Construction Management experience in Subsea and/or Offshore environments in excess of10 years as a manager· OR relevant experience, as stated below.Preferred:· Engineering degree or equivalent· Senior Marine Qualification (STWC II/2 OR III/2 or equivalent)EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGEEssential:· Experience of serving in a senior capacity on offshore diving and construction vessels andexperience in project management, or· Experience in Project Management.· OR relevant experience, as stated below.Preferred:· Experience of serving in a senior capacity on offshore diving and construction vessels· Proven knowledge of offshore construction equipment methods· Senior Marine Qualification (STWC II/2 OR III/2 or equivalent)PERSONAL QUALITIESRequired for position:· Excellent communicator· Can develop respect· Self starter, able to prioritize and work as part of a leadership team· Ability to influence teams – an enthusiastic leader· Ability to prioritize and work within a dynamic changing work environmentRequired for future development:· Desire to progress through the management structure· Flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities
