Faststream Founder and CEO Mark Charman will be speaking at the annual Blue MBA / ShippingWatch conference in Singapore in November.
Mark, alongside Jan Lauridsen, Managing Partner at Heidrick Struggles, will be talking about executive headhunting in a topic headed “Meet the Headhunters & the Talent”. The discussion will shed light on the ideal profile for a Maritime CEO in today’s climate, and the best track to take if you want to become a future leader of the industry.
Mark Charman comments: “The Blue MBA / ShippingWatch conference will bring together a fantastic cross-section of leaders from each corner of the industry and provide attendees with a unique overview of the Maritime industry in today’s ever changing climate”.
Charman continues: “Becoming a future CEO in the Maritime industry is something which many employees in the sector aspire to, however picking the right path and obtaining the skills required to do the job is not a subject that is regularly covered. The future of Maritime relies on the leaders of tomorrow and I’m looking forward to sharing my insight on the topic alongside Jan Lauridsen”.
The conference is jointly organised by ShippingWatch and CBS Executive MBA in Shipping & Logistics (Blue MBA) and in collaboration with the Singapore Shipping Association. The event is being held at the Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium on 25th November 2017. The conference is an annual event with the ambition of providing participants with exclusive information through targeted knowledge sharing and interviews with key stakeholders.
